Members vs One time submissions

These are two options for anyone wanting to contribute to CCF. We created these because we know from first hand experience just how heavy a student workload can be and we believe that this shouldn’t limit you from sharing your views.
If you are willing to become a full time member, you would almost definitely be making monthly contributions. This is a more long term commitment, but correspondingly shows greater collaborative abilities and dedication. You would also be included on the About Us page of this website. Roles here include writing, editing, art/photography, web design, marketing, and translating. Keep in mind that while all of our higher positions (e.g. head of writing, head of editing, etc.) are filled, many of our members will be going to college soon and may step down to general positions, creating wider opportunities for anyone who is willing to take them and shows the necessary dedication.
For those who are interested but have a less predictable schedule, submissions are a great option. You can submit art, photography, or writing. As an international magazine, we also accept writing in multiple languages, but be aware this will be translated by one of our members. In fact, if you are considering submitting as an external contributor, make sure to be extra careful when going through our application form since it’ll be your most accessible source of guidance. However, if any other questions arise, you can always feel comfortable contacting us.
Neither of these options is better or worse. We are always looking for both members and submissions. While we admire and recognise the commitment of members, we also understand and acknowledge that this position isn’t for everyone, and are grateful for any contributions, especially those made despite difficult schedules. Regardless of the degree of your contribution to the magazine, though, your work is yours and will be recognised as such. While only long term members will be on the about us page, any contribution will be accompanied by the name of whoever submitted it.
If you are interested, don’t hesitate to apply. We have a place for everyone and want to hear your voices.
